These little sweet and sticky balls are made out of dried fruit, oats and nuts. The consistency and taste reminds me of the raw cookie dough I used to eat as a child during baking. Depending on the dried fruits used, the taste of the balls varies and the pineapple-apricot-combination literally tastes like summer.

The apricot balls can be served as dessert or snack as the ingredients are really healthy (except the optional maple syrup 😄). Also these little fruit balls make a great snack during longer bike trips!

Ingredients:

  • 30 g oats
  • 30g dried pineapple
  • 80 g dried apricots
  • 40 g cashews
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start by placing oats and cashews in a food processor and pulsing until they are crushed finely into a flour like consistency.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse until a sticky paste has formed.
  3. Roll the sticky paste into small balls and enjoy!
