These little sweet and sticky balls are made out of dried fruit, oats and nuts. The consistency and taste reminds me of the raw cookie dough I used to eat as a child during baking. Depending on the dried fruits used, the taste of the balls varies and the pineapple-apricot-combination literally tastes like summer.
The apricot balls can be served as dessert or snack as the ingredients are really healthy (except the optional maple syrup ๐). Also these little fruit balls make a great snack during longer bike trips!
Ingredients:
- 30 g oats
- 30g dried pineapple
- 80 g dried apricots
- 40 g cashews
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Start by placing oats and cashews in a food processor and pulsing until they are crushed finely into a flour like consistency.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse until a sticky paste has formed.
- Roll the sticky paste into small balls and enjoy!
