Turmeric Latte, also known as „Golden milk“, is the new fancy drink! It is delicious, healthy and a great alternative to coffee and tea!

The main ingredients are ground turmeric, any kind of milk and optional spices. Turmeric has been used century’s by human kind as to its anti-inflammatory activity. Numerous studies indicate the beneficial effect of turmeric towards several chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, obesity and autoimmune diseases. 

So here is my favorite recipe:

1 tbsp. ground turmeric
100 ml water
200 ml almond milk
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of vanilla extract

1. Mix the turmeric with the water into a thick paste and add almond milk while heating the mixture up.

2. Add as much cinnamon and vanilla extract as you like.

3. Enjoy the golden milk!
