Usually I’m not a fan of having a smoothie for breakfast and do not think it is a very healthy way to start the day as I explain in this article.
Recently I got my wisdom teeth removed and I could not eat anything solid for a week so I created a sweet and filling breakfast smoothie.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 200 g blueberries (I like frozen berries)
  • 200 ml milk (I like almond milk)
  • 40 g oats
  • 1 tbsp. nut butter of choice

Method:

Simply blend all the ingredients until they form a creamy smoothie!

This smoothie is cooling with oats and nut butter adding proteins and fats, creating a thicker, more filling texture than fruit based smoothies!
