Who does not love ice cream? In summer and winter and to be honest just always! 😄 Original ice cream mainly consists of heavy cream and sugar, which is not very healthy.

Banana ice cream is just made out of frozen bananas and a splash of milk or yoghurt. It is often also referred to as “nice cream” as it only contains unprocessed plant foods! All you need is a high speed blender and frozen bananas. Make sure to choose very ripe bananas (yellow one’s covered with brown speckles) and freeze them for at least 14 hours!

Ingredients for 2:

  • 4 small, very ripe bananas
  • 1 splash of milk or yoghurt (I use almond milk or soy yoghurt)

Just add bananas and milk into a high speed blender, set it on a high speed and wait until a smooth consistency is created.

Banana ice cream melts very quickly, so eat it up in time 😉

The fun part is to decorate the ice cream with toppings of your choice, just be creative!
